Can't find the answer to your question here? Feel free to e-mail Sales@PhattieDrums.com or call the shop at 828-253-2300.
How can I place an order?
Orders can be placed online at MyCustomDrum.com, this is our shopping cart that connects directly to our shop, no middleman. For complex custom orders, the best way is over the phone by calling 828-253-2300, or via e-mail. This ensures we get all your details correct, and your drums get crafted to your exact specifications. Visit our Ordering page for more information.
How can I get an endorsement?
Stauffer Percussion is a small workshop where Phattie Drums are handcrafted one at a time. We are not a major corporation that throws a lot of kits around. However, if you feel you are in a professional position for an endorsement have your management company submit your press package to:

Stauffer Percussion
Artist Relations
P.O. Box 2895
Asheville, NC 28802

Keep in mind that every endorser of our product purchased their drums, we provide no free gear. Our artist roster is full of guys who love our product and chose to purchase and play it proudly because it's the best product for them, not because it was the best deal they could get from a company. If you are not familiar with how endorsements really work with small companies, check out this page by our friend Bermuda: http://www.bermudaschwartz.com/endorsement/index.html
Do Phattie Drums come with a warranty?
Yes. Visit our warranty page linked to the left to learn more.
How long does it take for custom orders to be built?
The average wait time for Classic, Acrylic, & Hybrid Series kits is between 8 and 12 weeks depending on the finish.
Can you refinish or rewrap my current drums?
At this time we do not offer any refinishing/refurbishing services. We suggest checking with your local drum store to see who is doing quality drum refinishing in your area.
Do you offer factory tours/can I visit your factory?
Our facility is currently open to visitors only via appointment. We recommend calling at least a week in advance to verify personnel will be available. Weekend and after-hours apointments are available on a limited basis by calling at least 2 weeks in advance.
What is MSRP and "List" pricing, and is there a discount off the website prices?
"List" prices are the Manufactures Suggested Retail Price, or MSRP. This is a virtual number created so stores can advertise discounts of 40%-60% across the board. Phattie Drums are sold at a direct and fair price, without these virtual markups. This saves you time and effort in shopping for the best deal, because the best deal is at MyCustomDrum.com. No checking discounts, no calling dealers to see who is selling for the biggest percentage off. Phattie Drums: fair and simple pricing across the board.
Can you really do anything?
At Phattie Drums/Stauffer Percussion each drum is handcrafted with 10+ years of experience.
