Pricing Philosophy

If you’ve spent more then a few minutes shopping for your next kit, there’s a good chance you’ve been hit with “The Price List”.  This happens when you find a site you like that has some nice pictures and a few pretty drums.  You click on the pricing link and get a page with hundreds of options and then it’s time to grab your calculator.  First, add your shell sizes together to get a base price.  Then add $3 per lug for Tube Lugs, and around $75 per shell for a high quality glass glitter wrap.  Want brand-name heads? Add a couple more bucks per drum.  Keller VSS shells, that’ll be another $25 per shell.  Be prepared to add another $25 per drum for offset lugs.  When all that’s done you have one big number, and it might not even be the right number. The "right" number is anywhere from 15% to 50% off of what you added up, and you can only get that by contacting a dealer or manufacture. That's a lot of work just to get a straight price.

We’ve chosen not to play that game with our Straight Up Pricing.  Click on the links to Classic, Hybrid, Acrylic, Snares, or Custom Shop to the right and you can be rest assured that the price you see is the price you’ll pay.  There are no over-inflated “List” or “MSRP” prices.  No need to find a calculator to add up the options. There are no additional fees for standard features that the competition calls “Upgrades”.  Keller VSS shells, solid-brass machined tube lugs, high quality glass glitter finishes, Evans heads, Trick GS007 Strainers, all standard. By using our Straight Up Pricing and selling directly to you without a middle-man markup, we've managed to keep our prices lower than the competition while building a better drum. The simple, easy, and convenient path to the best value in high-end handcrafted custom drums.
