During the construction of Phattie percussive instruments every effort is made to ensure only the highest quality woods and metal components are utilized and every completed instrument is of the highest quality. Great care is taken to guarantee your drums arrive safe and sound. Accidents do happen, however, and in the event of a warranty claim here is how you're covered:

General Warranty Information

Hardware: Lugs, flanged hoops, claws, and related metal drum components are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date the product was originally purchased from an authorized Phattie dealer.

Shells: Ply-constructed wooden shells are guaranteed against warping and ply delamination for a period of three (3) years from the date the product was originally purchased. Stave, segment, steam-bent, and shells produced using other alternative methods are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase. Sounds Like Art™ shells are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase.

Hoops: Ply-constructed wooden hoops are guaranteed against warping and ply delamination for a period of one (1) year from the date the product was originally purchased. Stave, segment, and wooden hoops produced using other alternative methods are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

Finish: Wrapped and lacquer finishes are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase provided that proper care and handling of the drum(s) has been taken. Excessive wear and tear indicative of abuse is not warrantied.

Conditions of Warranty

Drum heads and other similar items considered "consumable" are not covered by this warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage and/or product failures that result from modifications, alterations, improper maintenance, neglect, misuse, and extreme variances in climate (specifically humidity and temperature).

Specialized hardware finishes such as, but not limited to, Custom Powder Coating, Black Chrome, Satin Chrome, Brass, Gold, and Satin Nickel carry no warranty in regards to cosmetic appearance. These finishes are delicate and require proper handling and a higher level of care compared to their chrome counterparts. Damage caused by negligence is not covered by this or any other stated or implied warranty.

Your Responsibility

It is your responsibility to educate yourself regarding the care and playing of a purchased Phattie percussion instrument. Extreme damage caused by misuse and abuse are not covered by this warranty.

The obligation of Phattie Drums provided by this warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement of any defective parts at the sole discretion of designated Phattie employees. To be eligible for repair or replacement, original parts must be returned to Phattie Drums in proper packaging with postage pre-paid.
